Community Corner

Community Corner was set up in the summer of 2015 to enhance the work that we do in our local community.

We host a Community Corner Show on Saturdays between 1pm – 3pm to give local charities and organisations the chance to talk about the work that they do in our local area LIVE on the radio.

Community Corner provides us with a very exciting tool to increase awareness of the communities potential to actively participate in the social, economic and cultural development of our area.

The hour slot usually consists of an introduction to the representative thats coming on air, how they got involved with the organisation they’re promoting, playing a few pieces of music chosen by the representative, talking about the organisation, how and why it started, the work they do and what events / future plans are in the pipeline, and a bit of general discussion.

Our volunteers will go over specifics and an overview of the questions that will be asked to ensure that you are comfortable in answering any questions, after all this is to promote your charity in our local area.
