BURY: The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations happening in your local area

With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee taking place next weekend revellers up and down the country are set to celebrate their additional bank holidays with street parties, gatherings, and parades in honour of the Queen’s 70th anniversary of service.

The Platinum Jubilee is between Thursday 2nd-Sunday 5th June 2022, with a multitude of live and televised events happening over the course of the long weekend.

So, what is going on in your local area - and how can you get involved? Here are just some of the celebrations happening within your community:

Jubilee Themed Big Fat Quiz! – Sparkling Clog, Radcliffe, Bury, M26 3WY

Thursday 2nd June

• ‘All things royal’ big fat quiz at the Sparkling Clog pub, starting at 7:30pm

Jubilee Afternoon Tea on the Terrace - The Lampost Cafe, Burrs Country Park, BL8 1DA

Thursday 2nd June- Friday 3rd June

• £25 per person, including a bottle of Prosecco between 2 people

Jubilee Pony Day- Holt’s Equestrian Centre, Bury Old Road, BL0 0RX

• Special Jubilee pony day at Holt’s Equestrian Centre from 1pm-4pm

• All ponies and children to be dressed in red, blue, or white
