REACTION: "It's the right decision" Bury boss Andy Welsh on yesterday's abandonment

Credit: Jake Horrocks

Bury AFC manager Andy Welsh spoke to Roch Valley Radio after his team saw their game abandoned against Campion at half-time yesterday.

The home side took the lead on seven minutes through Nicky Boshell before an own goal from Robbie Graham drew Bury level.

A great header from Ben Wharton saw Welsh's side take the lead with ten minutes to the break.

Patrick Sykes scored with a minute remaining of the first half, and that was the last real action of the game before referee Billal Moosa ended the game within a couple of minutes of the half-time break.

Bury return to action next Monday (27th December) as they travel to Steeton, a game you can hear live on Roch Valley Radio Xtra.
